Azman studied Engineering and Architectural Studies at University College London and works in rural electrification and decentralised renewable energy. As Energy Systems & Technical Operations Lead, he supports the technical planning, coordination, and deployment of community-based energy systems, including clustered solar home systems and mini-grid initiatives. His work spans procurement coordination, field implementation, and operational oversight across projects serving underserved and Indigenous communities in Malaysia. Having progressed through operational and administrative roles within the organisation, he brings a practical understanding of both internal systems and on-the-ground realities, with a focus on delivering projects in a structured, accountable, and technically sound manner.
