Lara is passionate about social equity and sustainability, and is keen to contribute to participatory, community-based development initiatives. Lara studied at Queen’s University, where she completed a BA in Global Development Studies, with a Minor in Gender Studies. She has worked with various organizations dedicated to social justice issues, ranging from food security and poverty reduction to digital rights.
