Travel Itinerary for June 29-30

Saturday, June 29

  • Everyone arrives in Kota Kinabalu. We will be providing accommodation for this evening at Homy Seafront Hostel located at Warisan Square. You'll be responsible for getting to Homy yourself, just let the front desk know that you're part of the group from Energy Action Partners. Check-in starts at 2pm but if you arrive earlier you can leave your luggage at the hostel (there are a few options for transportation from Kota Kinabalu International Airport to Homy. A taxi will cost you around RM30 and you'll be able to get a taxi coupon at the airport. There is also an airport bus transfer for RM5/person that drops you off at Centrepoint, not very far from Warisan Square. Alternatively, GrabCar works in Kota Kinabalu and can be a cost-effective and convenient option).
